Five Best Bars in Las Vegas

There are few cities in the world that travelers visit just for the nightlife. Las Vegas is one of those few. The city has become the defector plan for university graduations and stag and hen parties and is at the top of the US holiday destinations list.

It is not just young people looking to party that are planning to travel to Las Vegas for an unforgettable holiday, more and more it is those looking for a chic and glitzy experience. Las Vegas has responded to this demand by having an impressive selection of trendy and exuberant hotels and bars.

People still do travel to Las Vegas just to gamble and most visitors will drop a couple of dollars in the slots at the very least, the majority however are coming to experience the city itself. Over the last few decades Las Vegas has become the world capital of indulgence and many have put the city on their bucket list just to experience its sheer excess. Hotels have tried to outdo each other with dramatic spectacles, attractions and performances. With the array of large and small accommodations,
you can easily discover delightfully unique hotels for trip of any length.

Once you have yourself in a nice hotel, you will want to get out to see the sights. While you are out, stop in at one of these five watering holes for a drink and an amazing experience.

The Griffin
This amazing bar is part castle, part 1950’s drinking lounge. Located right on Fremont Street, once inside you become insulated from the crowds and can settle into one of their classic leather booths to enjoy a Manhattan or Martini. Relaxing here for a while is far too easy.

Downtown Cocktail Room

While this drinking establishment is a bit of a challenge to find, once you do you, will be seduced by the immaculate surroundings that recall the prohibition-era speakeasies. This bar is for those that like a unique mixed drink and not just a pint of lager. The cocktail menu has some combinations that you may not have seen before. Try something new like their ‘Apple Pie’ or ‘Don’t Fig with Me’. It might be a wise idea to try this place more than once if you plan to make your way through the whole menu.

The Hostile Grape
If you prefer a vintage wine over the classic cocktail, you may wish to pop into the Hostile Grape. This bar is all about wine and it is served in a unique fashion. Amongst the beautiful wood decor are wine stations where you can get pours of wines that you would not usually be able to get by the glass. If you enjoy a wine tasting then the Hostile Grape is for you.

The Chandelier
Las Vegas is all about excess and the Chandelier bar is a stunning part of that. Once in the door, it may take your eyes a moment to adjust to the amount of light and sparkle displayed by the chandelier crystals that encompass the entire bar.
Having a drink here feels like you are part of a lavish Broadway musical. The Chandelier is worth a visit for the ambiance and they have a great drinks menu too.

Frankie’s Tiki Room
Every city should have Tiki bar and Las Vegas is lucky to have this one. You may wish to
try Frankie's Tiki Room for exotic drinks like the Zombie; however it is the kitschy decor that is going to win you over. A bit off the strip, but do not let that stop you, this watering hole is a must-see while in Sin City.
There you have it, five of the top bars in Las Vegas for you to go and try out. So what are you waiting for… go!
